Arlene Maze

This review has been a long time coming; I have both bought and sold a house with Arlene in the span of six years. I was a first time home buyer (and seller) and she walked me through the process every step of the way. She has a good perspective. Her advice is very insightful and practical. She’s easily available via phone, email, or text – and she answered all my newbie questions right away. I live out of state so not only did she do this with me in a different state, she managed to do it during a PANDEMIC. She knows the neighborhoods of Austin really well and she has a great take on pricing. Seriously, finding a realtor gem is hard, so don’t look any further if you’re considering Arlene. She’s awesome!

I don’t know even where to start. Arlene Maze is aMAZE…ing. I was a first time home buyer and was very overwhelmed with the buying process. She welcomed me to her office and explained the whole process in great detail patiently. She made me feel like she wanted to truly help me find my dream home, not sell me something for the money. Arlene is not a pushy saleswoman, she is a good listener, is considerate of others, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like she is family. She is very well known in the Austin community and will find you a home that is a smart purchase, safe, and perfect for you. She made my home-buying process so enjoyable and I would highly recommend her.

Arlene Maze got us our home! As first-time homebuyers, we were initially intimidated by the whole process, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. Arlene was very understanding and always put our needs first. While we were viewing houses, she took time to explain what to look out for in Austin when it comes to house age, foundation issues, flooring, exterior, etc. Arlene has been living in Texas for many years, so she knew what she was talking about. By the end, we felt comfortable putting in offers with a solid base of knowledge. Because of the crazy market during the pandemic, winning offers was understandably difficult. As this period is completely unprecedented, Arlene kept us aware of what was going on in the broader market and what we might expect a house to go for. We felt that she cared that we were getting a house at a reasonable price and one that we would love. She never pressured us to offer more than we were comfortable with. On top of this, Arlene was great with communication. She never left us hanging and we always felt that we were her top priority. Seeing houses quickly is a must in this market and she made sure that we got the attention we needed. I’d recommend Arlene to any friends or Austinites looking to purchase a home. She’s professional, honest, timely, and knowledgeable. We’re happy homeowners!

Arlene helped us buy our first house. It took a year to find the right place and she stuck with us the entire time. She took the time to get to know us and determine what our like and dislikes were. I can tell she was very busy, but was able to respond to all of our emails instantly (even the ones that we sent late at night). If there was a house that popped up that we wanted to look at, she set up the time and all the information on the house within the day. As we looked at houses she brought up concerns that we would have never thought of as first time home buyers and made it feels as if she was buying the house with us. I have not had any other REALTOR® to compare to her too and I don’t plan to ever have a different one. I would gladly ask her help when I need to buy my second, third, and fourth home.

What a team! Everyone helps each other out and therefore they take great care of their clients. We worked with Arlene. She is extremely knowledgeable not only in finding great houses but the right locations, explaining financial aspects and everything you need to have a smooth relocation.
