Betsy Gallagher was born in Austin while her father attended graduate school at UT. Although she grew up in Houston, Betsy spent time in Austin during the mid-80s and has called it home since 1993. She loves Austin’s vibrant energy and the natural beauty of the Hill Country—a rare combination that makes the city so special.
Before transitioning into real estate, Betsy was a banker, a community sports association volunteer, and a soccer mom. These roles taught her invaluable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance—all with a healthy dose of humor. Inspired by a kind Realtor who helped her family navigate a challenging market in 1991, Betsy was drawn to real estate as a way to pass on that same care and support. Today, she channels those lessons into her work, always keeping her clients’ best interests at heart.
Betsy has been married for 38 years and is the proud mom of three grown children and four beloved grandbabies. In her free time, she enjoys learning to play golf, improving her swing at the golf simulator, biking with friends, traveling, and, of course, spoiling her grandchildren.
