Laura is originally from Houston and moved to the Austin area after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2001. She was immediately drawn to the lifestyle Central Texas offers—the lakes, rivers, greenbelts, and the strong sense of connection that makes a big city feel like a small town. Today, Laura calls Liberty Hill home, where she’s found the perfect balance of proximity to Austin and the warmth of a close-knit community built on relationships, local support, and a slower pace of life.
Before entering real estate, Laura served as the Director of a private preschool in Northwest Austin, leading a team of more than 30 teachers and staff while working closely with over 150 families each year. That role sharpened her leadership, organization, and communication skills, and reinforced the importance of trust, patience, and follow-through during high-stakes moments. Real estate became a natural next step—an opportunity to continue serving families while blending strategy, advocacy, and her lifelong interest in homes and neighborhoods. Known for her calm, no-pressure approach, Laura takes the time to truly listen, tailor thoughtful strategies, and guide her clients with clarity and confidence.
Outside of work, Laura’s life centers around relationships and experiences. She’s married to her husband, Michael, and together they enjoy spending time on the water, traveling, and making memories with family and friends. Laura has traveled to more than 25 countries and is always planning the next adventure. At home, she loves baking sourdough bread, hosting gatherings, and spending time with their two poodles, Jack and Fozzie—simple moments that reflect her belief that home is about the life you build, not just the place you live.
