Originally from Humble, Texas, Mike Ward moved to Austin in 2006 with his wife, Alicia, who was attending the University of Texas. They quickly fell in love with Austin’s vibrant lifestyle, beautiful landscape, and welcoming community. Before transitioning to real estate, Mike built a strong foundation in customer service through his experience in food retail and restaurant management. His natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life and his passion for serving others translate seamlessly into his role as a real estate agent.
Mike’s journey into real estate began in 2006 when he and his wife purchased a duplex, becoming homeowners and landlords simultaneously. By 2014, he had fully transitioned to real estate sales and property management. He is known for his genuine, down-to-earth approach, always meeting clients where they are in their real estate journey. Whether assisting with a rental or a luxury property, Mike brings the same level of dedication and thoughtful service to every transaction.
Mike and Alicia share their home with their two young sons, Finn and Weston, and their beloved dog, Berkeley, whom they adopted in 2010. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring Austin’s parks and lakes, and taking part in water sports like wake surfing and paddle boarding. Mike is also an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, combining his love of hands-on work with his desire to help others achieve the dream of homeownership.
