Amy Bell

Amy was born and raised in Oklahoma City and earned her degree from the University of Oklahoma before working in Dallas for several years. A career opportunity brought her to Austin over 20 years ago, and she quickly fell in love with the city’s natural beauty, vibrant music scene, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Before real estate, Amy worked in sales and territory management, where she developed skills in client service, negotiation, and strategic planning—tools that seamlessly translate to her real estate career.

Her move into real estate was driven by a desire to combine her sales expertise with a career that offered more flexibility and personal fulfillment. Amy thrives on helping clients, particularly those relocating to Austin, feel at home in the city she loves. She’s known for her hands-on approach, consistent communication, and dedication to ensuring no detail is overlooked. For Amy, the most rewarding part of her work is building long-term relationships and earning her clients’ trust through results.

Outside of real estate, Amy enjoys life in Austin with her husband, their daughter, and a lively crew of three dogs and two cats—two of which were “foster fails” through her favorite dog rescue organization. In her free time, she cheers on her daughter’s volleyball teams, explores Hill Country trails, enjoys baking desserts, and travels with her family.

Why is it important to you to partner with a local brokerage?

Partnering with a local brokerage means having true insight into the Austin market and a direct connection to the community. In a neighborhood-driven city like Austin, this local expertise allows me to better guide clients and deliver meaningful results.

What’s your favorite local spot and why?

Reimers Ranch Park is my go-to spot for a mix of adventure and natural beauty. I love hiking its scenic trails, taking in Hill Country views, and enjoying the Pedernales River access. It’s also an incredible place for stargazing thanks to its Dark Sky designation—a rare escape so close to the city.

Is there a local cause that is important to you?

Two local causes are especially close to my heart. I’ve volunteered for over a decade with Addicus’ Legacy Dog Rescue, helping save dogs from high-kill shelters and the streets of Mexico. I’m also a proud supporter of Seedling, a Central Texas nonprofit that pairs mentors with children who have an incarcerated parent, offering them connection, encouragement, and stability during critical years.
