From the very beginning, Amy was incredibly intuitive. She listened carefully to my wife and me, quickly picked up on what we liked, what we didn’t like, and what really mattered to us — sometimes even before we could fully articulate it ourselves. As we looked at houses, she became better and better at understanding exactly what we were searching for.
But what impressed us most about Amy was how completely un-pushy she was. We never felt like she was trying to “sell” us a house or steer us toward a decision just so she could close a deal. The timing of the sale worked out perfectly, allowing us to move into our new home with minimal hassle. Will also successfully negotiated a rent-back agreement, which made our transition much easier. I became frustrated after trying to look for a house on my own after about six months. I later found Rita Little and was so glad that she listened to what I had to say, where I wanted to live and how much money I want to spend on a home. I am a French woman from Paris whose lived in Southern California for three years. I wanted to buy a small property in Austin and not knowing the area, I contacted various real estate agencies on the web explaining my situation and my requests. Very quickly Rita Little stood out from the other agencies because of her kindness and her total involvement in search of the house. I want to say that I had a minimal budget compared to what is normal today in this area and Rita gave me the same attention as if I had a budget ten times higher. Rita was wonderful. She made the first-time home buying experience easy, straightforward, low pressure; all the things I could have hoped for. I am completely thrilled with the outcome and with the process.
There are some Realtors who do pretty much nothing and collect their commish for a few forms and opening a lockbox. Rita Little goes so beyond the scope and duty. I just spent the last several months working with her and literally memorizing the MLS. Rita not only had the patience of every Saint (I would name one but I don't really know any) she never once pressured me to do anything, ever. In tough choice situations, she would matter of factly walk me through the pros and cons and in doing so every time she impressed me with how well she listened and understood my needs and what I was shopping for every single time. When it came time to negotiate she never responded with what would benefit her and her commish only what was within my best interest. I have purchased a bit of real estate and Rita is amazing! She was knowledgeable about the money, 1030 tax exchange, appraisals, all of it! Every single area of town she knew...I know because I looked EVERYWHERE! If there was something she didn't know and needed to research I knew the answer as soon as she was on a desktop or heck she did it right there on her phone or iPad. Getting me the information I needed to make a smart choice was first and foremost and she always made me feel like a priority. This is the Realtor you want and need. I will not buy real estate without her, she is my go to and I can't recommend her services enough.
I have nothing but praise to sing for Rita. She was diligent, informative, and patient. I did not feel comfortable at all coming up with a new number to submit, and Rita totally handled the whole thing; once again far exceeding my expectations. I realize reducing the price reduces her commission, but apparently, a happy customer is far more important than a few extra bucks. I don't have a whole lot of experience in these kinds of deals, but I have a lot of experience with people. Not everyone would have had my back like that. I would not hesitate for one second to refer Rita Little to my friends and colleagues, and I would absolutely seek her services in the future should the need arise again.
