"The people. Clients becoming neighbors, neighbors becoming friends. It's always nice to drive around town and point at the homes I've closed and know that there are good people living there making it their own."

Andrew Hackemack

Andrew Hackemack was born and raised in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas but fell in love with Austin and Central Texas while attending The University of Texas at Austin. For Andrew, it's the waterways—Barton Springs Pool, Lady Bird Lake, and the greenbelts—that make Austin truly special. After 13 years here, he's still uncovering the tall tales and local gems that make the area unique. And, of course, the incredible food scene keeps him anchored in the city he loves.

Andrew launched his real estate career shortly after graduating from University of Texas in 2013. As a self-described social creature, he knew real estate would allow him to connect with people and help them make some of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Andrew’s commitment to being accessible and honest sets him apart. His “open door” policy ensures clients feel heard and supported every step of the way. For Andrew, no question is off-limits—just an opportunity to explore new perspectives.

Andrew and his partner, Brianna, live in a charming bungalow in Cherrywood, where they enjoy tending to their garden and dreaming about fixing their chicken coop. Outside of work, Andrew can be found cycling through town, climbing at the Austin Bouldering Project, or relaxing on his back porch with good music and even better company.

Why is it important to you to partner with a local brokerage?

The culture, pure and simple. Bramlett is filled with seasoned colleagues who quickly become friends, all united by one goal: putting clients first. In a hyper-local market like Central Texas, it’s invaluable to share stories and insights about what makes this area so special.

What is your favorite local spot and why?

Enchanted Rock is a true treasure. This natural monolith in the Texas Hill Country feels like something out of a fairytale. At golden hour, the rock’s rich, glowing hues are otherworldly. It’s magical to see tiny ecosystems thriving in small pools of rainwater at the summit, surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills.

Is there a local cause that is important to you?

The Texas Climbers Coalition holds a special place in my heart. Many people don’t realize Central Texas has outdoor climbing areas, known as “crags.” This organization works tirelessly to protect and sustain these unique limestone crags, fostering a community of passionate, big-hearted climbers.
