Originally from the Houston area, Jackie Ogier’s career has taken her across the country, from Wichita, Kansas, to Atlanta, Georgia, before landing her in Austin in 2008. After years of living in Tarrytown and French Place, Jackie now resides just outside Austin city limits on a small acreage horse farm, where she enjoys the perfect blend of urban convenience and countryside charm. She loves how Austin’s inclusivity, arts, culture, and nature make it a melting pot that welcomes all walks of life.
Jackie’s professional journey began in agricultural commodity sales, where she marketed beef and pork on a national and international scale. Her ability to navigate complex deals, paired with exceptional organization and communication skills, made her transition to real estate a natural fit. Jackie purchased her first home at 22, and her passion for real estate grew as she continued to invest, eventually adding properties and acreage to her portfolio. Today, she channels her experience and dedication into advocating for her clients, ensuring they achieve success whether buying or selling.
Jackie lives with her husband, two daughters, four horses, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys riding and competing with her horses, attending her children’s soccer games and horse shows, and training wild mustangs with her daughter to find them good homes. Jackie is also a passionate advocate for America’s wild horses and supports efforts to rehome those held in federal facilities. Whether riding through Garey Park’s scenic trails or exploring Austin’s vibrant community, Jackie treasures the life she has built in Central Texas.
