Lynn Wise brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to her real estate career, shaped by a lifelong connection to Austin and a dynamic professional background. Originally from Dallas, she moved to Austin at 16 but had already spent countless summers visiting family and falling in love with the city's charm. From barefoot afternoons at Barton Springs to record shopping at Waterloo, she embraced Austin’s creative, close-knit culture early on. Today, she calls Austin home, raising her children in a community that offers natural beauty, top-rated schools, and a vibrant lifestyle.

Before discovering her passion for real estate, Lynn earned an M.A. in Latin American Studies and began her career as an editor for a geopolitical intelligence firm. She later transitioned to digital content and marketing for Fortune 500 companies, but the corporate world left her unfulfilled. Inspired by her and her husband’s ventures into real estate investing, she pursued her license and found her true calling. What began as a plan to manage their investment portfolio turned into a full-time career fueled by her love for homes, architecture, and design.

When she’s not working with clients, Lynn enjoys walking while listening to audiobooks, kayaking, hiking, and spending time by the lake. She cherishes moments with her husband, their two teenagers, and their beloved dog, Sadie Grey. Whether she's playing pickleball or enjoying the outdoors, she values Austin’s ever-evolving energy while staying deeply rooted in its timeless sense of community.

Why is it important to you to partner with a local brokerage?

Growing up in Austin, I was always encouraged to “shop local,” so when I became a real estate agent, it felt natural to choose a local brokerage. I wanted to join a company that’s deeply connected to Austin’s culture and communities while upholding high standards of professionalism, data-driven practices, and collaboration. What is your favorite local spot and why?

Commons Ford Ranch Metropolitan Park is one of my favorite places, especially on quiet weekday mornings. As a child, I loved visiting the park with my family to gather pecans, and now it’s my go-to spot for hiking, thinking, or simply relaxing by the lake. Sitting on the dock with my feet in the water is a perfect way to unwind and connect with nature.

Is there a local cause that is important to you?

I am proud to be a third-generation member of P.E.O., an organization dedicated to empowering women through education and sisterhood. We fund grants and scholarships for women, including those returning to school after having their education interrupted. As someone who navigated the challenges of balancing caregiving and college, I’m deeply passionate about supporting women on their journey to a brighter future. Since its founding, P.E.O. has provided nearly $415 million in educational support, and I’m honored to contribute to a mission that transforms lives through opportunity and education.
