Mark is an Austin native whose roots in the city stretch back to the early 1970s. He grew up in Northwest Hills, graduated from Anderson High School, and later earned his degree from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Before transitioning into real estate, Mark spent over thirty years in global IT services, consulting, and software, working with Fortune 500 banks and insurance companies. That experience refined his communication, negotiation, and deal-management skills—tools he relies on daily in his real estate practice.
Real estate has always been part of Mark’s life. Inspired by his mother’s forty-plus-year career as an Austin REALTOR®, he developed a deep appreciation for the city’s neighborhoods, history, and rapid evolution. His decades of local knowledge, coupled with his business background and advanced real estate education, allow him to guide clients confidently through complex market conditions. Mark is known for his steady approach, his ability to navigate large-scale transactions, and the genuine relationships he builds with every client he serves.
Mark lives in Northwest Hills with his wife, Robin, their son, Jackson, and their mini-Aussie, Lucky. Outside of work, he enjoys running—having completed five marathons—spending time at his family’s ranch, hunting and fishing, and traveling both domestically and abroad. Whether cheering at his son’s athletic events or exploring new places, Mark values quality time with his family and embraces the active lifestyle Austin offers.
