Marley Bautista

Originally from rural southeast Oklahoma, Marley Bautista grew up on a beef cattle ranch where hard work, community, and a deep connection to the land shaped her values. A graduate of the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics, she later earned her B.A. in Business Administration and Psychology from Austin College, where she also studied abroad in Costa Rica, England, France, and the Netherlands. After working in banking, where she gained insight into home lending and finance, Marley discovered her passion for real estate and earned her license shortly after relocating to Austin with her husband, Aron.

Since beginning her real estate career, Marley has combined her early exposure to property investment with her professional experience in finance to help clients make confident, informed decisions. She enjoys the challenge of pricing and positioning homes for success and brings a collaborative, data-driven approach to every transaction. As a team lead with Synergy Property Group, Marley finds fulfillment in mentoring other agents — helping them discover their unique strengths and build thriving real estate careers grounded in service, knowledge, and efficiency.

Marley and Aron have built their lives in Austin since 2005, where they are raising their two children. Their family stays deeply connected to the community through sports, volunteering, and martial arts. Both Marley and Aron are black belt instructors with the Austin Society of Karate, where they teach and host local tournaments. In their free time, the family enjoys exploring Austin’s parks and restaurants, especially the places that reflect the city’s welcoming, creative spirit.

Why is it important to you to partner with a local brokerage?

After spending the first 17 years of my career with a large brokerage, I realized that being part of a smaller, locally owned company allows for a more personalized and agile approach. Real estate is a relationship-driven business, and having the support of a brokerage that can respond quickly to market conditions — while providing individualized guidance — helps me serve my clients more effectively. A strong local partnership fosters collaboration, productivity, and authentic connection.

What’s your favorite local spot and why?

I love exploring locally owned spots that make Austin so special. When it comes to great food, Uchi and Matt’s El Rancho are long-time favorites for their consistently outstanding dining experiences. I also love being outdoors — Zilker Park holds countless memories, from taking my kids to play and swim at Barton Springs to attending the Austin City Limits Music Festival every year since it began. Krause Springs in Spicewood is another favorite — a beautiful Hill Country escape filled with spring-fed pools and lush scenery.

Is there a local cause that’s important to you?

Austin’s sense of community is one of its greatest strengths, and I’m especially passionate about supporting Coats for Kids and Blue Santa. These programs bring warmth, comfort, and joy to families during the holidays and reflect the kind of generosity and togetherness that make Austin such a wonderful place to live.
