Our Realtor Nancy made the process of searching for and purchasing a home very enjoyable. She has a wide knowledge base and helped us to understand the in‘s and out’s of the process. We can be a little high maintenance at times and she was always very patient with us. We never felt rushed at any time during the process and she consistently went above and beyond to meet our needs. Additionally she was a great advocate for us, pushing back with the builder or lender when necessary and asking hard questions that we wouldn‘t have even known to ask. We had a rental house that we decided to sell and we needed help making the smartest updates we could that would get a return. Tara McGuire has great ideas and also closely collaborates with a stager (which she included). Thanks to Tara we made wise choices like updating the light fixtures without wasting money on something like a whole new floor (not needed in our case).
Furthermore, Tara is very transparent. We got an inspection report ourselves first so that we would know the condition of the house, could share it with potential buyers, and take care of what needed to be taken care of. She also asked us to list improvements we had made and the cost. I thought that was very fair and helped people to understand our price point.
She also did a thorough job of researching the comps ahead of time explaining both why our house might be more valuable than the comp (greenbelt) or less valuable (one less bathroom), etc. Our house sold before we even put it on the MLS (people saw the sign), and over asking. It was about as low stress as you can get and again I really appreciated the transparency. Highly recommend.
