We worked with Tara McGuire and really had an exceptional experience. We moved here from New York City and started our journey to finding a home here in Austin almost 2 and a half years ago. Tara was constantly communicative and helpful through our entire (quite lengthly) journey.

We were not only relocating from across the country, but this was our first home buying experience. Our needs and wants for a home changed a few times and Tara was sure to promptly update our home search desires any time we let her know more precisely what we were looking for.

She was always able to see houses with us every time we were in town to visit. Tara would plot out the day so we were able to see as many homes as possible and gave us a better sense of they lay out of Austin and the different neighborhoods we were looking in.

We ended up with the perfect house for us in the end, but Tara really stuck it out with us through two different negative experiences with other homes. She really gave us her honest opinion and expertise, while still allowing us to make the choices that we were most comfortable with.

We highly recommend Tara. We are very satisfied with our experience and are so happy with the home we ended up purchasing.

My son recommended Tara McGuire when I decided to buy a condo in Austin. Being a senior citizen, I have worked with the stereotypical real estate agent too often. Tara was a breath of fresh air. Never pushy, spent long days with me trying to figure out where in Austin would work for me and trying to decide how large a place I needed. She never complained, although I was not easy, often changing my mind. Tara is a rare prize and I enthusiastically recommend her.

We recently closed on a wonderful house, with the help of Vicki Duran from Bramlett Partners. Vicki helped us find our temporary rental townhouse and we decided to use her to help us with a home purchase as well. Believe it or not, the first home we toured with Vicki turned out to be The One. We decided to make an offer and found out from the listing agent a competing offer was coming in as well. We strategized with Vicki and gave it our best shot - it worked! We were in escrow a couple of days later. Vicki guided us through the whole process, providing referrals for services like home inspection, contractor work, flooring, etc. Since we are new to the area, this was very helpful. She coached us on our negotiations and, we believe, helped us to come out with the best deal possible, while maintaining a positive, cooperative relationship with the sellers. Communication is one of the biggest aspects of the Realtor/client relationship and Vicki was always quick to respond to our [many] questions, concerns, and requests. We felt like we were working with a friend, not just a hired professional. When you get a high level of professionalism, along with a relationship like that, we think that's the best combination possible. By the way, the escrow and closing went through without a hitch, thanks in large part to Vicki staying on top of the process (and the players) and making sure things were getting done.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Tara McGuire was our real estate agent when we moved from Houston to Austin. We did not know what part of Austin we wanted to live in but had a list of "must haves". Tara set us up on her website that would send us alerts on homes that matched our criteria. When one house in particular popped up, I called her and said I need to see this house...Tara set up a showing and then facetimed us in Houston for our "tour". Tara went above and beyond, helping us every step of the way with our home buying process. She had to jump a lot of obstacles to get us in our dream home but she did!!!!! We are so grateful for her hard work, listening to our needs and being so patient as we were making our move to Austin. I highly recommend Tara for any real estate needs. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about Austin or real estate!!!
