I really enjoyed working with Rita on this deal. She was active in my house hunt without being too pushy, and there was no point in the process where I didn't feel that she had my best interests in mind. Her knowledge of a variety of subjects; from house construction to contracts to price negotiations far exceeded my expectations. She's obviously taking the education part of the process seriously and seems genuinely interested in many different aspects of the trade. She's also super detailed oriented. My communications with her never felt scattered, in fact, it was the opposite. I felt like she was conscientiously referring to a checklist and making sure to do everything in the right order. Somehow in all of this, she made me feel like my house was the only thing she was working on or that mattered. Rita really listened to what I had to say during our first conversation, which is what ultimately helped me stay focused on my original intent. She found a home that I thought was perfect without even going to a showing. Naturally, my first thought was "I can't put an offer on a house sight unseen." Rita not only showed me how we could make it work by only risking an option fee, but she made me feel ok about the decision too. No pressure, just a "not a problem, we do this all the time." Rita somehow got a lot knocked off my original offer post inspections. I did not feel comfortable at all coming up with a new number to submit, and Rita totally handled the whole thing; once again far exceeding my expectations. I realize reducing the price reduces her commission, but apparently, a happy customer is far more important than a few extra bucks. I don't have a whole lot of experience in these kinds of deals, but I have a lot of experience with people. Not everyone would have had my back like that. I would not hesitate for one second to refer Rita Little to my friends and colleagues, and I would absolutely seek her services in the future should the need arise again.
