Erin and Jane reached out to us last year when we were really on the fence about moving from our current location. I think I had expressed some interest in one of the properties listed on the Realty Austin website and that's how we ended up making the initial contact. Our interactions were primarily with Erin, so I will let the focus of this be on her (although Jane was wonderful and helpful at every opportunity that arose). I explained my dilemma on moving to Eanes. We have two young children and love our Circle C home, the community, the neighbors and the exemplary elementary school. But we were also looking a little ahead in terms of middle and high school for our kids and wanted to keep our options open on getting into the Eanes school district. Erin was very patient and was more than happy to show properties in the 360/Westlake area just so we could get a feel for the neighborhood and take our time to understand what we really wanted in a home. We feel this has been a really amazing journey together. We saw quite a few properties over the course of the year and Erin would patiently go over the pro's and cons of each listing we saw. She took the time to educate us on the market in general, and how to make relatively easy fixes to update the look and feel of some of the older homes that were the norm in the area. She always came across as a calm, professional, thoghtful and caring individual that genuinely wanted her clients to be happy. She was very good at patientlylistening to our feedback/concerns and breaking it down into things we could fix and things we may not be able to change, which made the process of elimination so much more easier. We got along amazingly well and the whole process seemed so smooth and relaxed. Erin is a wonderful person. We feel fortunate to have met her and feel we have made a new friend.

We were more than pleased with the Jane and Erin team! Erin took the lead with us due to the area where we were wanting to move. We ended up building a house and she helped us with all the details including selecting finishes, communicating with the builder and blue taping all the little fixes near the end. I'm very glad that we had her in our corner since we had never bought a new house before and it was very new to us. I would recommend the Erin and Jane team highly!

Jane and Erin were absolutely wonderful during my entire home search. I have a very busy
schedule, and they were always available to go house hunting when I had a second to get out. I jumped around on my location and house preferences multiple times and they stood by my side with every move. They were there to help me with all the questions and concerns I had throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!

My experience in working with Jane Hume and Erin Rost has been stellar and culminated in my purchase of a home in Hyde Park at a very affordable price - a small miracle. Jane and Erin also ably represented my daughter and son-in-law when they bought a home in East Austin last year. When I was deciding whether to relocate from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jane and Erin worked with me for months, familiarizing me with Austin neighborhoods. When I was in a position to buy, they took on the challenge of finding me an affordable home in central Austin. They found several suitable candidates that would fit my rather tight budget, including the small and very charming cottage that I ultimately bought. They also helped me figure out what repairs would be needed and find an excellent contractor. They dealt very competently and professionally with frustrating problems that arose (on the seller's side) during the closing. Erin and Jane are also two of the nicest and smartest women I've met - and tough negotiators as well. Having a two-person team on my side was great. I recommend them highly.
