Aymen Alobaidi

Aymen is originally from Baghdad, Iraq, where he spent his early years growing up during the war. In 2012, he and his family immigrated to the United States as refugees in search of safety and opportunity. Austin quickly became his true home—the place where he built his career, found community, and experienced the pivotal moments that shaped his life. Before becoming a real estate agent, Aymen worked at UFCU Bank, where he developed a deep appreciation for connecting with people and guiding them through financial milestones.

His journey into real estate was driven by a personal mission. After his family lost their life savings during a failed home purchase due to a lack of proper guidance, Aymen vowed to become the kind of advocate his family never had. Today, he combines his love for homes with a strong sense of purpose—educating clients, providing unwavering support, and helping others achieve the dream of homeownership with clarity and confidence.

Outside of real estate, Aymen is deeply rooted in family life. He is the oldest of three siblings and takes great pride in being a positive role model. He shares his life with his wife, Jazlyn, whose support has been a constant source of strength. Aymen’s interests range from fishing and outdoor activities to sports, theater, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Whether connecting with friends or unplugging in nature, he finds inspiration in staying grounded, active, and engaged with his community.

Why is it important to you to partner with a local brokerage?

Partnering with a local brokerage allows me to serve clients with a deeper, more personal connection to the community. I’m working alongside people who know the neighborhood inside and out—the schools, businesses, and unique culture. That kind of insight and accessibility just can’t be replicated by national firms. I want my clients to feel like they’re working with someone who lives here, works here, and truly cares about their experience long after closing.

What’s your favorite local spot and why?

Town Lake holds a very special place in my heart. It was near my first home on my own—a time of personal and professional growth. I used to walk the trail every morning, coffee from Noble Joe’s in hand, planning the next steps in my journey. Watching the skyline change over the years felt like watching my own story evolve. I’ve celebrated countless holidays by the water, and it will always feel like home to me.

Is there a local cause that is important to you?

I’m passionate about supporting young people from challenging backgrounds—kids who, like me, may have grown up in difficult circumstances. I believe in creating safe spaces, offering mentorship, and showing them that no dream is too big. Our environment plays a huge role in shaping our future, and I want to be someone who helps change the narrative. Everyone deserves the chance to rise above their circumstances, and I’m committed to helping make that possible.
