Joel grew up in the suburbs of New Orleans and spent nearly two decades in Dallas, where he built a successful career in restaurant management. His background instilled in him a strong foundation in leadership, customer service, and creative problem-solving—all skills that now serve him well in real estate. When Joel and his wife decided to raise their growing family closer to loved ones, they made the move to Austin, drawn by its vibrant community, natural beauty, and rich food scene.
Joel launched his real estate career in 2019, inspired by his sister-in-law’s passion for the industry. Eager for a profession that allowed him to work face-to-face with people and maintain flexibility for his family, Joel found a natural fit in real estate. Known for his thoughtful approach, Joel leads with questions to deeply understand his clients' goals. His commitment to growth, excellence, and creative problem-solving helps clients navigate challenges and achieve success.
Outside of real estate, Joel is a dedicated family man. He and his wife Abbey have two young children, Rylee and Matthew, and a beloved husky-shepherd mix, Obi. Joel spends most of his free time with his family, playing golf, running, and staying active—whether that’s on the softball field or simply enjoying Austin’s many outdoor activities.
