Laura brings a rich tapestry of life experiences to her real estate practice. Originally from College Park, just north of Downtown Orlando, Florida, Laura grew up immersed in her family’s multi-generational business. She moved to Austin in 1992 with her husband, Robbie, whose engineering career brought them to this vibrant city. Captivated by Austin’s outdoor lifestyle, Lake Travis sailing, and live music scene, they planted roots, raised their family, and embraced life in Central Texas.
Before entering real estate, Laura’s career spanned accounting, education, and art. She spent a decade in accounting before focusing on raising and homeschooling her three children. As an educator and artist, she ran a home-based pottery studio and organized educational co-ops, honing leadership and problem-solving skills. Since transitioning to real estate in 2017, Laura has leveraged her entrepreneurial spirit and community-driven mindset to expertly guide clients through life’s transitions.
In her free time, Laura enjoys gardening, hiking, and swimming. She cherishes time with Robbie, her husband of 34 years, and their three adult children. As a skilled artist, she creates functional and intricate pottery in her home studio and explores other mediums, including stained glass, quilting, painting, and fabric arts.
