Ruth Powers is a gem. It didn't take her long to figure out what we wanted, and she stuck through with us through several hiccups, really caring about us on a personal level. What an outstanding realtor, and person! We will recommend her to everyone!

Ruth Powers of Realty Austin is a top notch real-estate agent. I have used her services for my first house, back in 2003, based upon a review of her by a close friend, and she did not fail to disappoint. I was a bachelor at the time, and we bachelors are typically done in 5 or 6 showings. Not me - I made it to 15 houses before deciding. She was behind me all the way, and even took me to a few houses she did NOT recommend I purchase, just to show me the difference of what makes a good vs house. I have recommended her to my friends ever since, and she has delighted them as much as me. Fast forward to now and why I am writing this review no longer a bachelor, and we needed to move. Ruth engaged with my wife and I and helped us navigate the (for us) uncharted waters of selling and buying at the same time. She did so with grace no doubt based on her years of experience, and fought hard for us to be able to close on both deals. We nearly lost our purchase 3 times due to adverse actions on the part of the seller, but she kept up the pressure. She worked with us to make our target numbers in both directions, and was exemplary in all areas. I really can't recommend her any more highly.

Ruth Powers helped my wife, and I buy our new home, and I can't say enough good things about her. Not only did she help us buy, but she helped us sell our current home even though she wasn't the Realtor we were using to sell. The Realtor we were using to sell was so bad it was embarrassing and extremely stressful, but Ruth helped answer our questions for stuff that she wasn't even being compensated for, and it allowed us to move forward to get our new home. Plus, she was there for the inspection of our new home asking question after question that I would have never asked. My wife and I are beyond grateful and highly recommend her

Purchasing or selling real estate can be a very frustrating experience especially if you don't live in the property area. There is need for meetings, showing, repairs and dealings that require your approval and to have your eyes on the property. My frustration ended when I decided to call Ruth Powers. I have used her services before so I knew of her high level of professionalism. But this time it was a compete package, the experience of having her involved in the improvements phase paid off dividends achieving a high level of presentation to this unit; which resulted in an immediate sale and a very well presented and efficient unit for the new owners. She was able to work with my contractor and have a positive impact in the final overall result. She represented her company and the realtors association as a team who care for our needs and was able to produce immediate positive results. Mrs. Powers have the expertise and she was able to take the time needed to produce great results. For me she is a great knowledgeable realtor and I will be happy to recommend her and her company to anyone who asks my opinion.

I have to start off by saying that we were the quintessential naive first time home buyers. We walked into this with a little money and no clue what to do. Despite our lack of experience and constant questions, these ladies were extremely patient and kind! Ruth was our rock during all the issues that we experienced with the first lender. There were many times I would look at my phone, read email and I would immediately be filled with stress and anxiety. Almost instantly I would receive a follow-up email from Ruth and she was taking care of it. We put 100% trust in Ruth and she never let us down. Even after filing two applications with one lender and then having to switch to a different lender, Ruth was there for us and never gave up. I cannot express how grateful we are to have the privilege to work with Ruth. Also, I have been sharing the gospel of Ruth to everybody and referring her to all of our house looking friends.

I've known Ruth for many years. She assisted us with the purchase of an investment property ten years ago, so the choice for a realtor was a "no-brainer." My husband and I let her know we wanted a particular style of home for a certain price. Ruth was not only patient with us, but she also gave us a lot of options. We looked at a variety of locations. She recommended a builder and an area that we were not familiar with, never pushing us too hard. After a couple of years of contemplating, looking at several homes and neighborhoods, we found our dream home, with a view, at a great price. If you are a buyer, rest assured that Ruth is not in it for the money. She wants you to find the home that meets all your needs. Her goal is to have satisfied clients. We felt comfortable knowing that she was watching out for us. Once we found the home to buy, she was there for the walk through inspections, builder meetings, closing, etc. She was always available to coach us through the process, and she was a firm advocate for us when dealing with the builder. As a seller, she was meticulous about recommending ways to stage our home. Ruth spent a lot of time with me suggesting staging ideas for each room, repairs, even referring contractors. We had been in our home for over 20 years, so we had a big job, and Ruth was extremely helpful, even meeting contractors at the house when we were too

This has been our second time using Ruth Powers as our real estate agent and once again we were more than happy with her services. We are still tickled with our first house that was an investment property that we used Ruth as our agent! At closing, Ruth made sure to walk through the paperwork with me, and was looking out for my best interests in making sure payments and language was included in the contract to protect me from overdrafts and delinquent payments. I appreciate all that Ruth and the Realty Austin team did for me during this process. I ended up with a beautiful home, and am very happy with the process.
