It's difficult for me to write this review because it is hard to describe the impact that the Jane and Erin Realty team have made on mine and my family's life. Erin was a dream. She held our hands every step of the way and recommended the right people to help us during this journey - always professional, always accommodating, and the right kind of honest. She brings an incredible amount of knowledge to the table. At our closing this December, I sat across the table and cried happy tears. As I looked at Erin, she was also misty-eyed. Erin Rost with Realty Austin, on the Jane and Erin team recently helped us sell and purchase our new home. We sold our house in Round Rock and purchased in Georgetown. We have been working with them for quite some time, as we started the process of looking in 2014. From the beginning, they were very insightful on different opportunities and showed patience when we were taking our time to find the perfect living arrangement. When it came time to sell, Erin was very active in helping us stage our home, helped us get through closing our previous house without any hiccup, and kept the lines of communication open between us, the buyer and their realtor representative. They were quick to put a "coming soon" sign up, and help provide us with an accurate timeline on when to have the house ready. This actually helped us get a contract (For full asking price and fulfilled all of our terms) 3 days before the house officially went onto the market. In regards to purchasing our new home, Erin was very present and active in a majority of our meetings with the builder and walk-throughs to help us make the best decisions within our interests and helped identify different things we can look for. Upon
closing, at no fault of their own, our closing was delayed thanks to incompetent lenders, but Erin and her team dedicated their time during this delay to help them get their act together to prevent further delays in the process. As with any company, person or partnership, nothing/no one is perfect, and there are some areas of improvement. However, there is nothing great that comes to mind, and any challenges were met and rectified quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Erin and Jane and will do when the opportunity arises, to anyone who is willing to listen. They will help you sell, buy, or both and do it with great professionalism and be able to do so with keeping your best interests in mind.

We worked with the Jane and Erin Team of realty Austin and couldn't have been happier with the results. The current Austin realty market is very difficult to navigate, especially for first time home buyers like ourselves. We had two offers accepted on homes that after inspection, turned out to be terrible. Jane and Erin both went out of their way to make sure that we did not get ourselves into a house that would end up being a money pit. We were one of many bids on the final house we looked at and Jane and Erin structured our offer in a manner that allowed us to get the house without even being the highest bidder. Jane, Erin, myself, and my wife, Mary Lou have developed a wonderful agent-client relationship that we look forward to building into a longer term friendship. Working with them couldn't have been a better experience for us. We have shared a few emails with Jane and Erin about how much we loved working with them and that we couldn't have asked for a better couple of realtors to work with. They certainly represented Realty Austin incredibly well, with the utmost professionalism and friendliest of service. They are extremely knowledgeable in real estate and we knew we were in good hands the whole way. We got lucky to find them.

I liked both Jane and Erin. Erin was very patient with us as it took us 11 months and had some pretty important must have's. When Erin saw a house she didn't think would be a good fit for us, she would pull the plug knowing it wasn't in our best interest. On the flip side, she would pounce on a house and make sure we saw it right away if she felt that it was a good fit for us. Erin was extremely detail oriented and being first time buyers she really made the process as limited stress wise as possible. We would absolutely recommend her. She will get the listing of our house whenever we sell it.

Erin and Jane reached out to us last year when we were really on the fence about moving from our current location. I think I had expressed some interest in one of the properties listed on the Realty Austin website and that's how we ended up making the initial contact. Our interactions were primarily with Erin, so I will let the focus of this be on her (although Jane was wonderful and helpful at every opportunity that arose). I explained my dilemma on moving to Eanes. We have two young children and love our Circle C home, the community, the neighbors and the exemplary elementary school. But we were also looking a little ahead in terms of middle and high school for our kids and wanted to keep our options open on getting into the Eanes school district. Erin was very patient and was more than happy to show properties in the 360/Westlake area just so we could get a feel for the neighborhood and take our time to understand what we really wanted in a home. We feel this has been a really amazing journey together. We saw quite a few properties over the course of the year and Erin would patiently go over the pro's and cons of each listing we saw. She took the time to educate us on the market in general, and how to make relatively easy fixes to update the look and feel of some of the older homes that were the norm in the area. She always came across as a calm, professional, thoghtful and caring individual that genuinely wanted her clients to be happy. She was very good at patientlylistening to our feedback/concerns and breaking it down into things we could fix and things we may not be able to change, which made the process of elimination so much more easier. We got along amazingly well and the whole process seemed so smooth and relaxed. Erin is a wonderful person. We feel fortunate to have met her and feel we have made a new friend.

Jane and Erin were absolutely wonderful during my entire home search. I have a very busy
schedule, and they were always available to go house hunting when I had a second to get out. I jumped around on my location and house preferences multiple times and they stood by my side with every move. They were there to help me with all the questions and concerns I had throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!

Jane and Erin are amazing! They helped me find a great apartment is precisely the location that I wanted to be in. When it came time to close, they handled all of the paperwork, negotiation, and related matters adeptly, saving me a good amount of money on the margins. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home in Austin.

Jane did a great job. She had use back the entire time. She was very thorough and on top of things. I never met Erin, but could tell she was a strong part of the team.

We started working with Jane and Erin in April of 2012. They have been so patient with our needs, which were, to say, rapidly evolving. We appreciated their time and energy to cart us all over Austin in the hunt for the ideal property. Kudos to their support and leg work as we would quite often give her a list of MLS listings we were interested in viewing en route to properties! Ultimately we found the perfect property, entering them into a harrowing several month experience with a nasty listing agent (and similar seller) from another brokerage. Thank goodness for their perseverance and upbeat attitude to ensure we always were handled with dignity. They were always on top of their game between balance our calls/ texts/ emails in coordination with responses of the opposing broker. We were so lucky to discover Jane and Erin! Back when moving to Austin was just an idea,
they introduced us to town and drove us through different neighborhoods for hours-knowing
we might move to Dallas. After we selected Austin, they listened to what we wanted (and didn't want), knew all the properties and laws, and explained how the market worked. Team Jane and Erin made it their priority to find what we wanted. Having a team was great because one of them was always available to help. Without their guidance, we would have lost out on homes, because, in this market, homes get multiple offers in one day. Yet, we never felt rushed. We highly recommend Jane and Erin and will do business with them in the future. But we'd rather not move away from our new-found friends.

I believe we contacted David shortly before the July 4th weekend. We found a couple of homes to look at, and David made himself available to us that weekend. Over the next few weekends, he showed us homes. He always pulled together info for us prior to viewing the listings. He always answered our texts and emails promptly. Prior to our purchase, he helped us make an offer on a different property on a Sunday afternoon to meet the deadline. Our offer for this home was also done on a Sunday. After the appraisal came back $10,000 less, he was able to lower our offer by that amount. He also took the time to meet me at the house prior to closing to take measurements for flooring. I really appreciate everything!

David Ivy checked all the boxes of things that I look for in an agent: integrity, trustworthiness, and setting and maintaining clear expectations. He truly acted “as my agent”, working in my best interest. Since I live out of state, there were certain aspects that required additional support from David and more coordination to navigate our 5-hour time difference.
