After many years of living in apartments in NYC, we relocated to Texas with very little knowledge of the home-buying process here. It is a pleasure to share this review with anyone looking for a realtor. I lived in the Austin area 20 years ago. Due to work and life, I have come full circle to find myself back in the Lone Star State! I reached out to find a Ramsey recommended realtor. Paul contacted me within hours. We arranged to meet and began looking at properties from Kyle to Santa Rita Ranch. I was so appreciative that Paul listened to my "wish list" and was able to find properties to tour. As we toured, my desires became more refined and Paul continued to find properties to review. He is very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the different areas that have developed over the last 20 years. It's comforting when your realtor is like a trusted neighbor that can tell you about the good and the bad of subdivisions and not just the home you're visiting. Once we narrowed down our pick, Paul was instrumental in negotiating with the seller's agent. He was also with me during every step of the purchase even to the point that he was anticipating the needs of the seller's processor and had documents (property survey) they did not ask for until the day of closing. Paul is exceptional and I recommend Paul and Laura whenever possible.

I was a first time home buyer, and Paul did a phenomenal job guiding us through the entire process. He was very patient with answering any questions I had, always punctual and answered calls in a timely fashion, and made sure the property we bought included everything I was looking for and got us the best deal possible. Taylor is incredible! He was super honest with each house we visited, almost as if he was buying the house himself, and he understood exactly what we were looking for. Paul and Laura Johnston are amazing. I found them through the Dave Ramsey website and they responded to me immediately. I first spoke with Laura at 8:05 AM Saturday morning about looking for a home in the Austin area. Laura was very gracious and helpful. Paul also responded to us very quickly and had a great knowledge of the Austin market and was able to teach and guide me and my wife through the process of finding a home for our son and his wife. Paul worked both during the week and every weekend and even until late at night to help us find a beautiful home and then win the bid and close on the home. Paul and Laura responded to every text, email and call no matter when or what it was about. They had great advice on every aspect of the process including the Austin area, home market, builders, neighborhoods, home inspectors, moving companies and even home cleaners. Even after we closed on the home Paul has continued to help us find information about our home builder and the contractors used in building the house we purchased.
