We relocated to Austin in 2016, our 5th relocation in 16 years. We are no strangers to agents and brokers, good and bad. What we didn't realize is that there is a great one out there named Carol Strickland. Carol was referred to us by a mutual friend. She immediately went to work, drawing on years of experience and expertise, in finding my family an area in Austin that fit us. We had a very short window and Carol paid close attention to our needs and listened to what was important to me and my wife. In short, our 5th move was our best move and it was all because of Carol.

I can not say enough good things about Carol! I have had the pleasure of working with Carol in the sale and purchase of two homes in Austin and can not imagine going through another without her help. Carol goes WAY beyond listing and collecting a commission. She is in your corner from day 1 and represents your best interest, is highly knowledgeable, and has such a vast network that she can leverage in even the most unique selling or buying circumstance. She just gets it and gets it done. On the Selling side, we had our first house on the market with another agent for many months during a downturn and a "buyers" market. We relisted with Carol and the house sold in less than a month, and even better than the selling price we initially listed. She knew how and where to market to the right buyer and even helped stage it for showings that made it much more enticing than ever before. In the second home sale, I had life changes that made the sale very emotional and scary. Carol was able to help me maneuver through the emotions and successfully focus on the task at hand, getting things in order ahead to list with a quick turnaround in getting it on the market. This was no easy task as I was in the home, with kids for over 16 years. Carol went above and beyond with her ability to think outside of the box and market it through not only traditional but many non-traditional channels that resulted in the house selling in 3 days of being on the market AND at asking price with minimal negotiations. Carol's knowledge, solid work ethic, and positive, energetic energy made this life transition so much easier and pain-free. On the Buying side, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, community programs, etc. across the Austin metroplex. She listens to what you want and is your strongest advocate. She does her homework on any updates in a given area you express interest and goes above and beyond to find out things that you or your family might have a special need or interest. Carol was able to accommodate my hectic work/family life schedule and keep me informed every step of the way. She has a keen sense of finding what you want (or think you want) and offering other ideas that you may not have thought of and could benefit your search for the right home for your taste, interest, needs, AND offers good resale value. Additionally, she continues to provide a useful network for things such as home improvement vendors, neighborhood community contacts, among other neighborhood interests. I continue to recommend Carol to clients I have that are moving within or to Austin, several of which have successfully bought homes with her help. Her finesse in knowing the emotional and business side of buying and selling a home is second to none and always results in your ultimate success. I can't think of anyone else in the world to represent me in a home sale or purchase or recommend to others for the same. HIRE HER, you won't regret it!

Agent or angel? I’ve known Marley for more than 12 years, and she’s helped me through the purchase and sale of two homes. However, I’d like the world to know that beyond merely walking me through the home buying process, Marley was instrumental in guiding me through a terrible family tragedy that occurred in the middle of our sale. If you’ll allow me to be even a bit more dramatic, in the span of my lifetime I can count on one hand the people who’ve managed to enact monumental change for me, personally. Marley is there, on my Mt. Rushmore of life-changers. She is by far and away the best agent you’ll find, and I hope you take the time to consider her.

Marley did an excellent job helping us with the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new home. She was really on top of every detail, which helped the process unfold quickly and smoothly.
