My husband and I worked with Rachel Pulliam to buy our first home. She was patient and understanding, efficient, and encouraging. She answered all of our questions, even ones that came up at 9 PM on a weekday. She met with us weekend after weekend to search all kinds of houses from old ones needing a lot of work to new construction as we figured out what we wanted in a home. She changed schedules around last minute, even scheduling to view a home within 3 hours of my text to her so that we could see it before we put in an offer on another house the following day. When we put in offers on houses she walked us through the process step by step and remained encouraging and supportive through our disappointment when we did not get them. Most importantly she helped us to find a perfect home for our family. We strongly recommend working with Rachel.

Kyle helped us buy our first home, and he couldn't have been more helpful throughout the process. He seemingly would drop everything to help us look at a property - which is so important in the cutthroat Austin market. There were lots of difficult decisions to work through and he listened and provided really insightful guidance as we discussed pros and cons. We would flip-flop on what we thought was most important to us, and he was patient and supported us no matter which way we were leaning. Through negotiations, contracts, and the entire closing process, Kyle took the time to talk through every detail to make sure we understood. He translated the legal jargon into plain terms that were easy to understand. Kyle made us feel like we were friends and family, not a client relationship. When I first moved to Austin, Kyle worked with me to find the perfect duplex to rent. It was close to downtown, Zilker park, and had a side yard for my Australian Shepherd. Three years later my husband and I started talking about buying our first home. I immediately called Kyle because I knew he was the right realtor for us. As first-time home buyers in a very competitive market, Kyle professionally guided us through the process. His knowledge of Austin, investment property, and renovation costs provided us the insight we needed to purchase a home in South Austin. Kyle gave us advice and remained patient as we worked through which part of town to look in, our budget, and desire to purchase a home with potential for rental income down the road. We are grateful for his advocacy of us as buyers and continued advice as we embark on some renovation projects prior to moving in.

Kyle is by far the best agent I have had the pleasure of working with in Austin. As a native Austinite he has great knowledge and insight on each neighborhood. He was able to easily narrow down where we needed to look for our desired price point and square footage. We found a house that was way above our expectations at a price point that was lower than what we were expecting to pay, which is very rare in this city. Do yourself a favor and call the King!

We had a rental house that we decided to sell and we needed help making the smartest updates we could that would get a return. Tara McGuire has great ideas and also closely collaborates with a stager (which she included). Thanks to Tara we made wise choices like updating the light fixtures without wasting money on something like a whole new floor (not needed in our case).
Furthermore, Tara is very transparent. We got an inspection report ourselves first so that we would know the condition of the house, could share it with potential buyers, and take care of what needed to be taken care of. She also asked us to list improvements we had made and the cost. I thought that was very fair and helped people to understand our price point.
She also did a thorough job of researching the comps ahead of time explaining both why our house might be more valuable than the comp (greenbelt) or less valuable (one less bathroom), etc. Our house sold before we even put it on the MLS (people saw the sign), and over asking. It was about as low stress as you can get and again I really appreciated the transparency. Highly recommend.
